To meet members' needs for a more efficient method of preparing confirmation documents, CPA Canada has converted the new Bank Confirmation Form and Sample Letters into convenient templates that you can use to prepare these documents quickly and easily. These reusable templates correspond exactly to the published form and letters which have been developed by CPA Canada and the Canadian Bankers Association. The standard text has been locked in fields to reduce the likelihood that text will be inadvertently altered while the areas for variable information automatically expand to accommodate the necessary details.
The CaseWare template integrates with the CaseWare version 2.1 software to provide a complete confirmation control package. As well as automatically generating confirmation forms and letters, the template also includes a control sheet which tracks confirmations and records the details of any differences and subsequent follow-up.
