Developed by the Ordre des comptables agréés du Québec, Model Financial Statements: IFRS is designed to help publicly accountable enterprises prepare for this major change and comply with their financial reporting obligations.

These IFRS model financial statements take account of the standards in Part I of the CICA Handbook – Accounting for publicly accountable enterprises. Two sets of financial statements are included in these model financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards. The first set was prepared for entities that already apply IFRSs. The second set of financial statements illustrates first-time adoption of IFRSs including a reconciliation of opening balances in accordance with IFRS 1 First-time Adoption of International Financial Reporting Standards, CICA Handbook – Accounting, Part I.

Because each engagement is unique, Model Financial Statements: IFRS includes a CD of customizable financial statements that allows you to create statements to meet the needs of your clients and your business.
